Wink Do I have the world's messiest garage?

It just occured to me today, that I am working in a complete pigsty!! I guess that is the result of trying to do too many projects in just one garage !!

Who can out do me in the mess stakes??

not long now, a week or so....Port Rd this Sunday, so that will slow me down. Just have to bang on the sump, flywheel and clutch then I can put it back in, and throw all the bits and pieces back on......can't wait, my boost addiction is killing me !!!

Then I can get stuck in to the VK, that will be a fun toy

You messy Bastard HR! how do you get anything done in there?

i must admit, i'd rather have an over packed garage full of your stuff, than a tidy one complete with no stuff.

whats the plan for the VK? already caged by the looks? or have you got another in the works... more complete?..

I finally found somewhere I belong here!!

Hey, I was thinking the same thing today, how the hell do I do it????

I should put old HR's body back on it's chassis to make some more room soon

The caged VK was a spare super six...or touring car light that never got used. It has good suspension, a great manz type cage, and has been dip stripped and seam welded all over the place. Stupid thing is, I got it for $100 !! It will get either a twin turbo Holden V6 with T5, or maybe even Chevy V6 twin turb. I hope to use it for street sprints, hillclimbs, track days etc. I will keep it road legal too. I will buy a cheap crapper to use as a donor for all the stuff it needs...I already have a complete VL front, so I'll likely use that... then there is the HR to finish...and i'd love to hot up the old girl's VX Commy too......

    You could make money!

Why not send a few images of your workshop to The Office Of Fair Trading.

They could use the images to show business owners and TAFE colleges how to utilise horizontal and vertical storage areas efficiently.

You could even apply for a small business award for a safe work place.
Well done, a credit to you!

Fark!! what a damned good idea, make money by training people not to duplicate what I have, therefore saving 1000's of deaths and unjury.... better get the fake blood and splatter it round the shed, then take some educational pics ... $$$$$$$$

The intake is just a stock VN to VR Buick type, although this one has a Subaru fuel rail added, as part of my "on boost enrichment" concoction. Without the fuel rails, alternator etc, it does look a little like a volcano sticking out of the engine.

P.S. I can't wait for next year to roll round, as we are going to get a VE Commy for the old girl, so I will get the VX as a hand-me-down, and I can start messing with it

hmmmm ...you might hate me now....that poor old HR has had the firewall, floor an front end cut off it and binned....it now has a full tube chassis.

Before you crucify me thouigh, it served a few years as a circuit car before I got it, and was quite a sorry sight. Should be quite neat asa drag car, I don't recall seeing one at any NZ drag meets.

I want an HR wagon too, so I could stuff a mild turbo V6 in it, and tow the racecar round with it when it's ready...that's my idea of cool

All good mate your well safe i'm not that much of a purist. All mine have been 186 to varying degrees, two wagons would be the ultimate i reckon 1x sleeper with 12port delcoed 186, m20,etc; 1x blown buick or pontiac 455 chopped & channelled dreams
