Sprintex Superchargers is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Automotive Technology Group group of companies, an automotive engineering company based in Perth, Western Australia.
The origins of Sprintex began in the United Kingdom over 25 years ago where the first patented Twin-Screw Sprintex unit was produced. Since those beginnings, the Sprintex unit has been developed, evolving from the S102 twin screw to the current fourth generation Sprintex Unit.
Sprintex is unique as it is one of only a select number of companies around the world that produces a twin helical screw type supercharger, for which it holds world wide patents. The patented Sprintex twin screw supercharger is a mechanically driven rotary compressor with two helical lobed rotors, which rotate in opposite directions. One rotor takes the form of the left-hand helix, the other the right hand helix and the two mesh together to form chambers which carry the air. The rotors never touch, but are timed by a pair of gears operating in a lubricated chamber which is separated from the rotor chamber.
As well as manufacturing their patented twin screw supercharger, Sprintex also specialises in designing Supercharger Kits to suit specific vehicles, with current conversions including MG ZT's, MG ZS's, Rover 75 ’s, petrol and diesel Toyota Landcruisers, Mitsubishi Magnas, and Harley Davidson V Rods. All conversions are bolt on in nature allowing for easy installation and complete compatibility with the vehicle’s engine.
The advantages of installing a Sprintex Supercharger Kit in your vehicle are considerable with increases in power (35%), improved torque from idle (35%), absence of lag and of course improved driving performance. The high efficiency low boost nature of the Sprintex Supercharger results in lower discharge temperatures and greater volumetric efficiency therefore ensuring maximum performance output without sacrificing the life of your engine.
Manufactured and designed right here in Western Australia, the team at Sprintex are internationally trained and experienced in all facets of Supercharging, including emissions, ADR compliance, secondary ECU control systems, design, prototype manufacture, OEM compliant engineering solutions and custom installations.
Sprintex has a reputation for adaptive and pro-active thinking and an ability to provide quick and effective solutions for customers, from prototypes programs to full OEM compliant engineering solutions. In any application from Automotive to Marine, Sprintex has the expertise to undertake design and development programs.
Sprintex recently impressed crowds at the 2005 Melbourne International Motor Show with the release of their Supercharged Magna VRX AWD, Harley-Davidson V-Rod and MG V8 prototypes.

Zuicider what state are you in? is Sprintex spreading?
I can tell you that they sell twin screw superchargers, the internals are the same as a whipple, actually I think that should be said the other way around, sprintex as I think has been said above are the Australian branch of a German (I think its german) company who invented the lysholm device.
anyway thats all I know, I looked them up when I was buying one, which I did :P
