Anyone seen these new Police/speed cameras???

I got done for speeding the other day and didn't even notice the cops seemed to have put up a couple of new fixed cameras along the Gold Coast Highway, went back to have a look at it the next day after I go the fine... anyone else seen them? Are they only by the QLD police or in other states too? Nice little christmas present, grrr...

Haven't seen anything like that in Vic. All for it... more police eyes on the roads... brilliant.

Though they look like obersation CCTV camera's rather than redlight or speed cameras.

One thing though... whats with the red emergency light on top of it? Not sure that's needed.

Yeah that looks to be more of a CCTV camera than a speed camera. I doubt that is what nabbed you.

wasn't on top of a bridge, was mounted off the side of a building, and the pic of my car I received in the mail seemed to be from the same angle, so unless it's some kind of new technology or something I dunno

All tho I agree with you and i wont give any sympathy, nor has any one else that I have seen

No I haven't seen them here in VIC, but there are new radars...
