Who told you it was a Rice vehicle? Apart from it being my most favourite car, those things are awesome, AWD ftw!

Yeah, Subaru's are not rice until they fall into the hands of some you says 'Fully Sick' and 'Uleh' alot when talking about how their cannon matches their 22inch chrome dinner plates.

Until that time, they are pretty tuff and an awesome car overall.

    Very impressive vid...

pretty impressive. ive seen an older n/a subaru admittedly had to use low range but got my mates ute unstuck from the mud pretty well. and wouldnt get stuck in the mud itself which is pretty good imo.

id purchase a subaru. but itd definitely need more power than an n/a 2.0 or 2.2 theyre pretty average performance wise.

Yeah I should have been more specific. The Supercharged WRX 05' model is like the one non-GM car I would want, but I get turned off them when I see (and hear) them running around with spoilers that go over the top of the rear windscreen, chrome/gold wheels, subbie, and an o****ill exhaust note.

But the video, me and my mate at work watched it like 4 times! Couldn't believe it was real. Had to use snow chains...but we still are at a loss as to how it happened.

I've been in London for the last 3 months and its just recently started snowing quite severely. Once the snow gets on the roads, melts and refreezes it just becomes an ice rink. A mate and I pushed a Lexus sideways into a parking space the other day when the driver couldn't get up the hill he was trying to tackle.

It is seriously so incredibly slippery so if you can get grip with studded boots or a chained tyre, you can almost do anything if the vehicle has ice under its wheels.

it would've only needed the tiniest of pulls to get it going and wouldn't have needed the wrx after that

agreed, plus the low resistance of the snow would have made it easier. its not that impressive.

I agree, it is impressive. but those things have a spastic amount of power for a 1200kg car
