So I just got back from the Macca's Drive Thru at EHSC, cuz that was the only thing open.
Ask for a Chicken Deluxe meal with Water instead of Coke.
It takes the dude at the window like 5 minutes to figure out how to change it, then he says Im sorry you have to pay for a coke but we'll give you water. Im like whatever, only 50cents more.
So I go pick up my food, and the chick at the counter gives me a Macca's Coke container thingy, filled with Water! I sat there like WTF, and she just looked at me and then closed the window.
FFS! I was expecting a bottle not the plastic thingy they normally serve Coke in. And whats worse, it tasted like crap too.

Epic Fail.

Dude, the only maccas with dumber ppl in it than Endeavour Hills is Doveton.. The IQ's are lower than the cars parked there on a Friday night...

I am a bit annoyed with Hungry Jacks. I ask for a large whopper meal with a bottle of water instead of coke. A large coke cost some 50 odd cents more than water, but they charge you the $1.10 for the large upgrade and then an extra $0.50 odd to change for water. What the hell man?

Also my local KFC, I rather like the Ultimate burger meal. Always get large and nearly every time I get 2 of those kiddy paper container chips instead of a large box. I ask them where is my large and they say that two of them equals a large. I ask for a large chip box and pour both bags in and it barely comes half-way. They said they couldn't do anything about it. I don't go there anymore unless I got no other choice. No other KFC has done this to me.

When Maccas was still doing the Mcfeast burger, I always liked to combine my favorite burger (Double Quarter Pounder) with the Mcfeast. So I'd order a Large Double Mcfeast meal, and then explain, just a normal Mcfeast burger but with 2 patties not one. 6 times in a row I got my burger back and it had no patties in it rather than 2. On 2 occaisions I had gotten it take away and driven to a mates place 5 k's away from the maccas store in blackburn rd Doncaster rd intersection. On the 6th time I stormed back and said this is the 6th time in a short time frame that this store has done this to me, I asked to speak to the girl who served me and the bloke who made the burger...I asked both of them what XTRA pattty meant on the receipt. They both agreed that it meant 2 patties not 0 patties, so I demanded my money back, demanded a replacement meal at no cost and told both of them to go back and do some more training.

end of my maccas rant.

Now I don't eat maccas at all anymore. Fresh healthy food for me. Or Nando's or a nice Fish and Chip shop burger at the worst.

when my work used to have a few more people on shift i used to go out and get the fast food for everyone's dinner 5 nights a week. i never actually checked it in the store (takes too much time to check 5-6 peoples meals), so i just used to collect and go back to work. i found that maccas were the best, rarely stuffing up an order, except when someone orders a double-something-or-other. they always make you pay for it, but you rarely get the additional piece of meat. seems to only happen when you place 5 orders at once though, never happened when i'm alone . red rooster were ok as well, hungry jacks sometimes making mistakes, but kfc is the absolute worst. always chips missing, chicken missing, gravy missing, snack boxes missing, and once, we were an entire meal missing. just so happened to be my meal as well. we called up and they offered a free replacement meal so i went and collected it... still an inconvenience when you're at work though. lucky my supervisor said it was ok

YAY you paid more and got less, gotta love it. I cannot eat maccas anymore, ate half a big mac a year or so back, was almost throwing up, i refuse to eat from them now. Subway all the way, least you see how your food is being handled lol

And agree with levymetal about KFC, I swear they have to go kill the chicken out the back it takes that long to get your order lol

Hmmm, doesn't happen at any fast food stores or restaraunts I'm aware of as that is higly illegal

You wouldn't pass the annual health inspection for food outlet certification from your local council if you didn't have the facilities to offer customers suitable drinking water (and you aren't supposed to charge anything either although a lot of places throw a 'service' fee on their water) and without tap water plumbed into your postmix system you couldn't do the required flushing, etc on them

Well, I worked 7-5, come home and there's no food. And I was hungry.
And I never eat Maccas, always KFC for me. Addicted to the Wings. But they were closed.
Next time I'm just going to the servo and grab one of their meat pies that have been heating since 6am. Would be better

I wouldn't mind if I asked for a free cup of water and it came out of the espresso machine and then iced. At least the water would be sanitized because it is boiling.

You got punked. That water is free- yet you paid EXTRA for it .
In drive thru, you NEVER drive away from the window until checking your order completely. there's always a **** up... no fries, no syrup or gas in coke mix making the drink taste crap etc. and on public holidays even more so because they are extra busy and extra 'couldnt be ****ed'.

Not the maccas on Bell St in Preston! Its open 24/7, and you can walk in and out as you please.

Yeah there's a few, Noble on Princes Hwy, Wellington and Springvale at Mulgrave.
Suppose its just the drive thru for the less money making areas.

Everyone asleep by 11 in E/Hills. Best time to enjoy a drive lol
