    Default sand/bead/soda blasting

    gday guys,

im wanting to have my mute painted, so im going to strip the paint off and repair the rust first.

so i was wondering if anyone can give me advice on whether i should go for sand blasting or soda or what?

and roughly what it would cost to have a ute done.

what are the other costs involved?

    cheers
    michael

I recently read a thread where someone got their car bead blasted and it cost like $400 an hour I think.....dunno how long it took tho, prolly a few I'd say. Best bet would be to get the yellow pages out and start ringing a few places up.

thanks for the reply, yeah ill start ringing places during the week being christmas weekend i dont think there will be many places open, ive heard that if you sand or bead blast metal some of the sand/ beads can get stuck in the metal leaving a poor finish also it etches the paint, i havent heard anything bad about soda blasting though.
