Just for curiosity's sakeBathurst would be mine..... although I might be biased as it's only 2 mins from my place
Best race in the world

Well, I've driven around Calder, and also been driven around Calder, and its not bad.
Hard to beat Bathurst though.
V8 there is no question:
Or for all time it would either be the above or one of these:

OPs question isn't really clear.
Track with the most history, Bathurst without a doubt.
Best track to attend to watch a race, Clipsal is the winner (i've never been to bathurst, but plenty of people i know who have say clipsal owns Bathurst for at the track)

Indy. I rekon the street tracks are the most exciting. However Bathurst is the best race.
Off topic...but how many speed cameras are on that track during...normal times. I would imagine youd get every tom dick and harry blasting through there.
best of all = Bathurst, most history = le mans 24hr, track i'd like to see the v8s at = laguna seca

Phillip Island by a mile.
I dont class Racetracks as ones that are not used all year to race on. Bathurst, Clipsal etc are just street circuits.

oran park was good to watch the races at, too bad it wont exist for much longer
as for the best track any of us mere mortals will get a chance to drive on, i can't decide between phillip island and eastern creek (yes i am aware that the V8's aren't at the creek any more)
it sucks that nsw is getting rid of all the races we're the ones who started the v8 raceing in aus and now we're giveing it all away
The Best: The Mountain, closely followed by the Island.
The Worst: The poopshoot that is Sydney Olympic Park.... but I'm not a fan of the tight Montecarlo type racetrack. I much prefer the more open and fast tracks. ie not too many walls track edge and nice and wide where you can have 3 cars side by side jockeying for position into the corners.
