Well, for $6 a pair i have put these whistles on all of my vehicles as i drive through a lot of kangaroo country. But, the thing is, does anyone know if these things actually work, or is it just a load of crap? I have'nt hit any roo's since putting them on, but i may have just been lucky.
What do you guys reckon?
guess you havent driven past a deaf roo yet then.. haha
Make sure you have installed them correctly
I put a set on backwards & now the kangaroos follow me everywhere

Thats What I'm Talking About !!!
For $6, not really. My brother still cleaned up a roo with them on.
Even if they don't work, Surely you could give up 1 scooner and just whack them on? In case they did do someeeething? haha
Roos are stupid.. they will probably hear the noise and try to find the source.
If fitted correctly then yes they will REDUCE the chances of coming across some wildlife, however how do you test something like this? lol
I had them on the VP when I worked in Goondiwindi and a mate had them too. Neither of us hit roo's but they didn't run away as you drove past either.
I did spook a bull once though which narrowly avoided being hit by the car behind me. I paid $5 for mine and they were broken off after a year but the car was fine.
Yeah, my old man reckons the roo's are attracted to the noise those whistles make. lol
The $5 cheapies do work. The expensive shoo roo fails.
Shoo Roo's
That same local police officer hasnt hit a roo since using them, same as friends, sure it could be coincidence, but hey, for $5 who cares if it is?
