I'm just wondering what kind of experiences did you guys have, before this I have never jumped out of a plane whether it be static or tandem.
Absolutely hooked on it.
ive been keen to do this, or bugee jump. Just havnt got around to it.
couple of people was at school with, recently went sky diving, looked alot of fun.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
i did a tandem for a 21st bday present to myself in cairns. best money i ever spent, would totally do it again but about a month later i got a punctured lung and doctors said i wouldn't be able to do it again but that wont stop me lol
my mates have got me a tandem jump for my 21st still havent used it yet but should be exciting!
done around 20 solo's before that did 48 static line in the defence force. Everyone says how much of a rush skydiving is, has nothing on combat training static line.

i did a tandem jump bout 10 years ago was pretty good.
wasnt a fan of the crutch wedgie when the shoot opened though
If its got Wheels or Boobs its gonna cost ya money
yeah i know just work and no timei also have a V8 supercar drive that i gotta do get to drive 6laps
the one im doing is 10,000 feet not sure how much of a free fall that is but still should be good.
Not much really ... my tandem dive was with an ex girlfriend on her birthday, she loved it and signed up to do a solo jump .... they teach you some essential techniques and how to read your altitude metre ... take you up and out you jump. Not for the faint hearted though....
I did my first tandem skydive in November.
14,000 ft
absolutely awesome! If it didn't cost so much I'd do it again.
Definitely a big rush
id love to do it i reckon. id have to do it with a professional or someone thats done them numerous times before though haha
Soft Paul.
I'll do it eventually, Wasn't aware you could do solo first up, thought you had to do a tandem dive before they let you, so might do a solo first up.

The instructors are only there with you to begin with for safety reasons. Will set me back around $2700 to become fully licensed.
For the other one who asked, basically you have to do a full day course, teaches you how to deploy your chute, deal with any malfunctions and the proper body position when falling.
The course is VERY repetitive though, as you'd expect.
