Default Who is your fav MMA Fighter??

Just wondering if anyone on here whatches any MMA fighting. UFC, StrikeForce or any other?
And who is your prefered fighter?

    I follow Lyoto Matshita & B.J. Penn.

B.J Penn is my fav out of the 2. Penn is a freak on the ground and always getting better with is stand up game.

    MMA ROCKS

I'd have to say GSP. I reckon he's a gun all round and seems like he's not up himself. that jab of his.... lightning quick and sharp.

    Mixed Martial Arts.

I love watching Brock Lesnar. I watched him when he was a wrestler and was intrigued to see if he could make it in MMA so started watching him there, he is a freak, pure machine.

Mia has improved with is boxing but his endurance is what is holding him back from unleashing on the heavy weights. If others could get past mid 3rd round then he loses puff. Thats if they can get t that point thou lol.

Brock Lesnar is pretty good to but has way too much muscle imo. More muscle = more oxygen needed = endurance fail.

Did anyone get tickets for the UFC in Syd? I wish I did but was to late.

    GSP is fricken awesome!

But my favourite is Anderson Silva. His Muay Thai techniques are killer, his knees are fricken deadly and he's pretty decent on the ground to.

But best ground would have to be Royce Gracie! He was a legend. 12 out of his 14 wins were by submission, the other 2 by decision.

    .
If you mean good thai technique for MMA, I'd say yes. Good thai technique if you're comparing him to thai boxers, pretty average I'd say. Don't get me wrong, I like Silva and he is devestating in the cage. As an MMA fighter I rate him very highly, but as a thai boxer....no.

the tickets sold out in 6 hours i think. But it will be coming back as it is the most profortable sport that the arena has ever held in its history just from ticket sales.

If anyone says they like Chuck 'The Iceman" Liddell you get a

I think this guy is rubbish, Although he has a high knockout percentage, I don't think he has the skill as other MMA fighters have.

He is incredibly quick and agile for a big guy. He has a very big amateur wrestling background so he has very good ground and pound and mat wrestling ability. As soon as he has you on the ground it is over.

Heh, I didn't know Anderson Silva was light-heavyweight, in the same division as Chuck Liddell. Both weighing in at 93Kgs.

lol. yeah she would have to rate up there.

As for the iceman. Yeah his skills are nowhere near that of others in his class. But come on how entertaining are his fights. The guy is a brawler lol
