Every single one of them was lying even though i kept telling them all i wanted to know was if he was alright. And the lil cnt was hiding behind his mates. Then i had some lil girl show me up and tell me is it any of my business where my brother is. Opinions please.

Wtf are you talking about? Sounds like your half way through a story, don't think your gonna get many opinions.. No one knows what they're giving their opinion on.

I think what's happening here is this guy/girl was hunting down his/her brother, and the brother's friends were attempting to cover for him, but in his/her aged wisdom, he/she could see through the flurry of false stories being fed to him/her, and now he/she has condemned all teenagers to hell.
    The end.

    Castration?

I think its a family matter, and it depends on how you're family operates. I think its hard to gauge opinions on how to discipline family members from people who don't even know you or your brother.

But, in the interest of helping you out, I know my mate once locked the house up and didnt let his sister into the house until the morning because she was out till 3am. And it was winter.
And she had to sleep outside.
    I thought it was funny.
Too bad my younger brother is too lazy to even go out with his mates.

Family meeting? As some expert said recently, their brain has not fully developed and won't until they reach the age of about twenty-five. In the mean time they are prone to reacting emotionally and not thinking things through. If you really want to get through to your younger brother you are far more likely to succeed by using your brain and not your brawn. By the sounds of it your younger brother is already rebelling against authority so by throwing your weight around you are far more likely to make it worse than anything else. Trust me i'm speaking from experience, my older brother tried being tough with me and i haven't seen him for about seven years now.

If I was out at 10.30pm, WITHOUT letting anyone know where I was, or what I was doing, then I would've definately copped a slap in the back of the head when I returned home!

Not because I had strict parents or anything, its more just letting them know where you'll be if something happens etc...

Thats whats wrong now, parents let their kids roam the streets till the early hours of the morning, when they should be at least at home, or in bed ready for SCHOOL......

If you try to translate what the OP said (hard task), you will find that his brother left home at 12:30pm yesterday and returned home at 10:30AM this morning.

WHY are you trying to punish him? Where are his/your parents? Why did they leave it so long doing nothing? If it were my kid (now my boys are 6 & 7 so really I have no experience with this) I would be calling the police, then I would be driving around looking for them, getting in contact with ALL of their mates and hunting their asses down and then I would be dragging them via ear out of where ever they are in front of their mates.

16 year olds are all trying to be adults i guess, going through the "I do what I want stage" and can move out of home if they choose to, thinking quickly I would want to give them a swift kick in the ass, however that wouldn't work and would cause more problems, BUT I would remove all privileges (mobile phone, internet, games, TV blah blah), and drag them everywhere with me.

thanks to those people with positive feedback.
thats right im 23 now but i remember even just 8-10 years ago i think we where abit more obedient to our parents i know i was and like u said zeussy thats where they should be at home atleats at 11 o'clock if we dont stop them now and make them abide by simple rules they'll rebel to all types of athourities later on in their life.....
and im sick of coping it because of invincble teens there is rules for a reason (( I DONT MEAN TO OFFEND ANYONE))) May god have mercy upon all that lost their lives doing the thing that adjoins us all....
