British Airways now has a policy that prevents male passengers from sitting next to a child or teenager they don't know.

Has the world gone so mad that all males are now potentially sexual offenders?

Anyone else find this policy very disturbing?

lol just replied to this topic in another forum... should have seen all the stupid replies by hysterical pedo-paranoid mothers I find it very disturbing and grossly discriminating and I hope the poor bloke wins his case. If unattended minors are at such risk that they have to make stupid ****ing rules like this then perhaps unattended minors should not be allowed on flights period.

If they want such a stupid policy, the person being moved should be offered FREE upgrade to first class(for the head****) or the kid should be moved somewhere else.

A flight i was on a last year had several small children on board, one of which squealed like a pig the entire two and a half hour flight. How is this child allowed to carry on like this? What about my rights? I sat there quietly minding my own business, not bothering anyone. And in regards to the lawsuit, i hope someone starts a petition in support of this guy, i wonder whether that would influence the outcome of the case. If anyone has details of a way off this crazy ride i want details.

Its bullshit, I don't get whats so hard about moving the child, or sorting out seating arrangement BEFORE the flight? Wouldn't that make more sense?
