Hello Australia! Just wanted to say hello and thank you for making a great car. Saw these as the Chevy version in the Middle East. I could never understand why GM did not bring it sooner to the United States. In fact, I wish GM would just import the Holden.![]()

Hey that's very nice of you to say so! And welcome to the forums. You know if you can get your hands on enough cash maybe you could import one, maybe one of these?

If I could I would. Was watching the Speed Channel the other night. They were showing the British Touring Races. The VXRs were tearing up the BMWs. There are so few G8s in the USA, they are now classics. I drove to Washington D.C. in August and did not see one other G8. People were slowing down on the Interstate Highway, trying to figure out what kind of car it was. Can't wait to rebadge it with the Holden Insignias.

Most of my cars (Sports and otherwise) have been 4 or 6 cylinders. Had one V8 a real dog. My decision not to get the GT was based on $$$$ and I did not like the AFM. My main interest is the steering and handling, which to me is more important than the Horse Power.
My car can now whip the butt of most BMW 3 and 5 series. I hope that GM gets their head out of their 4th point of contact and continues to bring this car into the U.S.
