Yeah but from what the judge said it wasn't normal, she was putting a hell of a lot of effort into the amount of noise she was making. To me that would be off putting if my partner did it, let alone having to hear the neighbour carry on like that. And she was warned to quiet down, otherwise she would go to jail. If that's not enough to shut someone up maybe someone could gag her.

This is simple, if you making a noise which others can hear at inappropraite times, then she deserves it. Its not different to someone mowing the lawns at 2am... just sexier...

Bloody ridiculous. Fair enough if the lady is making too much noise, the neighbours could take it up with her, but it is not worth a court mention, certainly not a jail term. As long as you wear a ball gag! This was in England in like a block of housing(flats?) I've lived in flats when I was young and f'd if I wanna hear all the details of someones love/hate life. You should google and see the couple, it'd give you nightmares They installed sound equipment to measure the noise. It wasn't just a bit of everyday porn moaning.

I should be able to do what I want in my home too. Like watch tv, cook my dinner or pork my missus(quietly) without being subject to someone who should be ball gagged screaming like a banshee.

Yeah, I used it in jest but "think of the children" is a kind of catch all for passing any law, especially censorship. F'ck the children, it's an adult world and they will be adults soon...

I'll look after mine and any I know and others should look after theirs. They do not need mind protection. They are quite resilient buggers. In fact I don't censor my kids at all, in any way shape or form, in print or on the net. I do sys admin a school and have to play the censor there as much as I don't like it. Kids are much stronger than we give them credit for. I think it just stokes adults superiority complex.

What's quite sad is that I grew up in probably the most free times(60's 70's) and people of my generation, that have kids now, seek to hinder their children from the freedom that they themselves fought for, won and enjoyed. They now deny that to their offspring.. Sad..
