There is really no other side to the story. End of the day, auditioning for something doesnt give you rights to be a wanker on the road.

OK, so by the sounds of it, the roads were blocked off by "vehicles". Not emergency vehicles or council vehicles.... does that mean it could've been two of his mates blocking off a public road so that he can drift and audition for Top Gear.... holding up the public? Thats pretty damn selfish. What if one member of the public ignored the block off and entered the road as he was drifting through?
Hopefully this idiot stays overseas or if he doesn't, then i hope he doesn't do that on our public roads again!

If hes had the roads blocked off whilst doing it with help of police, park rangers or what have you, I don't see the issue. The only person he has put in harms way is himself. Of course if "blocked off" means a mate around the corner, then yeah sure let witch hunt continue.
From what has been reported by other websites, it was done in a state park on a rainy day, so public disturbance would've been pretty minimal if he did have park rangers out there in trucks blocking off the road.

OK, even if park rangers or police blocked off the roads to do this, what would have happened if he did slip up and end up crashing? Then you need to get police, ambo's a tow truck out.
