since they introduced the random drug testing here ive never seen an RDT or been swabbed or heard of anyone who has.
so im just curious if anyone here as been randomly tested for drugs on the road here in sa.

South Australia Police conduct random roadside oral saliva tests to detect the presence of three illegal drugs:

* THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive compound in cannabis)
* methylamphetamine (also known as speed, ice or crystal meth)
* MDMA (3, 4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine also known as ecstasy)

They may as well not worry about detecting mdma anymore cause there is a massive world wide shortage of the drug.

they breath test ya for alcohol
then they swab ya for drugs
wait between 5-10min
then you'll either be let go or booked for drug driving

at the same time, some cops go over the car whilst waiting for the result

For what it's worth Pillzor, I have never seen a RDT setup in Victoria either; I have however seen the buses driving around so I have no doubt that they exsist. I am told by a source, that the process is quiet expencive hence RDT's aren't seen all that often...

That said best to be safe, dont drug drive.
