It's amazing how the majority of society can live life with the wool pulled over their eyes. Years ago, there were skull and crossbone warnings on toothpaste tubes, warning about the dangers of the poison, known as flouride. Then the government and major companies decided to take the warning labels off, and introduced it into our drinking water, and everyone just went along with it, like a bunch of sheep. It fascinates me how many people just go with the flow, and never think to question what our leaders and major corporations choose to expose us to.

Flouride can be eliminated from tap water by reverse osmosis filtering systems.

What a load of rubbish. Trace elements of Fluoride has been in Melbournes water supply for decades.

Melbourne is also nearly unanimously regarded to have one of the best water supplies in the entire world. I, along with millions of others have drank from that supply my whole life and have no ill effects. There is no higher incidence of poisonings attributed to fluride here than any other major city.

On the flip side dental health amongst the young improved strongly in the 70's (first few years after it's introduction) and then slightly there after as the prevalence of soft drinks went thru the roof.

On the flip side, if you are **that** worried about it, you always have the option of buying a diy water filter or just filtered water outright. Beer is probably the best alternative

dude they don't flouride in water anywhere in australia so relax........... no you can panic cuase they use sodium slicate alumanate which has some of the same properties as flouride but is really a toxic by product of the alumimum industry. you should read the side of a salt container cause it in there. eat noodles its in the flavouring and so on and so on

Um... even in Tenterfield the local water supply is fluoridated. We staged massive protests in town over it, but they still put it in.

You do realise that oxygen is poisonous to humans and we breath is all the time?

Iron is also poisonous, but we consume every day in the food we eat.

Basically, you can take ANYTHING be consume, breath, apply and a re exposed too and make claims about it being poisonous.

Every once in a while, some very bored individual takes something that is common scientific knowledge and makes it into some chaotic story amongst the random population.

This sort of thing actually causes alot of problems, trying to protect their kids by cleaning everything every 5 seconds so they don't catch any bugs.

All that is doing is preventing their body and immune systems developing to be resiliant against bugs and infection and when the do finally catch something, their body can't cope and it's worse than it would be.

The part about the kids is my opinion based on fact by the other stuff is fact.

Just heard something on the news about links between smoking and lung cancer, what the,is nothing safe anymore. Gonna drive to the servo in my v8 hoon drag racing carbon fuel burning death machine, fill up on carcinogenic 98 grab some lung cancer causing smokes for the missus then head to the bottlo for a slab of beam and braindamaging cola in those deadly aluminium cans. What is in our water?
