Default Has anyone been fed through a feeding tube?

    Hey all,
i've read on here a few times about people asking info on surgeries etc, and i'm just wondering if anyone has ever been fed through a tube? The sort that they put through your nose into your stomach for extended periods, 1-2 weeks?

If anyone has any info, what was it like?

    Cheers.

I had one and they royally suck! It gets worse over time, well it did for me, because every time you swallow the tube is there and it irritates your throat and mine ended up wearing through the tissue in my throat and bleeding. The docs/nurses got a little pissed when I spat the dummy and pulled it out, couldn't stand it anymore.
