If anyone was driving in the city (Melbourne) tonight, they would've noticed the amount of VZ commodores broken down on the roads. I dont know if it has something to do with the water, but out of all the cars broken down, many were either VZs or cars with the 5.7L V8.
Did anyone else notice this? Coz it was pretty damn scary, as I felt like my car was gonna give out at any moment.
I didn't notice a single car broken down honestly. But you do see the idiots fly through puddle like it's sunny 30deg dry. Some of these puddles i went through knocked 20 km/h off my speed, and that was doing 10-20 less then the posted speed.
On the news some cars were 2 foot deep in water, something i have never before.

Some people are thick when going through water.
I know a guy that covers his distributor cap when washing his engine, VN V6.

if the car konks out on you, then try to get it off the road and wait for ALL of under the bonnet to dry, then you should be right.......unless you've done some real damage lol.
Even 4WDs with snorkels don't go thrashing thru big puddles......that's just plain stupidity.
