Default Do you eat fast food?

I think fast food is getting more expensive and less fast. How often does the average Commodore driver chow down on Maccas/Jack's/KFC? Do you think the stuff is worth it? Would you rather make your own food?

The missus and i may get chinese takeaway every couple of weeks or so. It's just nice to have a night off from cooking. We eat healthily most of the time so i'm not about to freak out about heart attacks from the stuff.

I ate KFC last Tuesday night, usually I don't touch junk food. I had pains in my stomach till Saturday arvo - not sure if it's the reason, but seems rather coincidental I think.

I'd rather eat a healthy home cooked meal, shit it out, and re eat it than eat Maccas, KFC or any of that garbage.

We eat bloody well in our house. We COOK everything from scratch, healthy meals too. It's cheaper, it tastes better and if there's leftovers, then whalla, there's lunch the next day for work. The only take away i eat (and it's only when i REALLY need something to eat on the run) are the footlong Veggie delight subs on multigrain bread from Subway. Even Subway isn't much chop, they claim freshness, still doesn't taste fresh though. It's rubbish too, but it's a slightly higher class of rubbish compared to KFC etc.

I'd rather a home cooked meal, but not a particularly good cook myself and not that interested in cooking either. But I usually have some sort of home cooked meal during the week, usually takeaway on Friday & Saturday nights though simply because I can't be arsed cooking

    this bear does.

i eat it more regularly than i probably should. oh well. i like to live on the dangerous side of life.

i eat roughly 3-4 bar meals (mainly chicken parmis) a week also.

id prefer a salad roll over take away for an example, but the problem is i need about 3 to fill me, and it doesnt fill me for a long time, where-as i could eat 6 fried dimmis, for 1/5th of the price of 3 salad rolls, and be full for half the day.

I eat subway too much, i havnt had maccas in 2 months, trying to be healthy, eating at the womans, house, mother cooks good pasta

Im a really good cook, when i can be bothered cooking, its the clean up i hate, thats why take away is normally what the rents, get.

I refuse to eat shitty food anymore, felt so much better, off the crap and at the gym.

Yes and im a chef lol.

I love my maccas tripple cheeseburgers but only eat maccas once a month or so.... KFC is nice but is over priced and they usually sell stale dry chicked what has been under the heat lamps for hours.

But in general i think fast food is over priced but so is everything at a restaurant lol.

    I had pizza Saturday night.

Subway Wednesday tradition - sweet onion chicken full salads water and 2 cookies.
Bakers delight Thursday tradition - mini twist feta spinach and wholemeal cheesymite.

I have a lot of pizza :P cause it's cheap. $5.95 for Large Deep-Pan Cheese or Ham & Cheese or MeatLovers. Atleast a pizza fills ya and you might have a slice or 2 left over for lunch.

Used to eat maccas on weekends but since I got sick twice from it, I don't eat it anymore. Only get frozen cokes from there now or a chocolate milk shake

Eat a lot of subway lately. Footlong Meatball Italian herbs bread, cheddar, lettuce, cucumber and mayo.

Never eat KFC, too expensive and they don't got their snacker burgers anymore (I dont think).

I prefer home cooked meals, but I'm usually at martial arts or wat not so I generally miss dinners at home, usually get home and eat a sandwich or something and my sandwich usually contains a slice or 2 of ham or salami and thats it lol.

Cheap Tuesdays at Subway for my family. Maybe Chinese take-away twice a year or so. Most of the food we eat is all cooked at home. I love pizza but can't stand what passes for pizza these days, so we make proper pizzas at home at least once a fortnight, on the weekend so I can drink lots of beer with it

    Maybe once a week.

Usually jap takeaway in the city, or subway, but I'm getting sick of subway real fast. Overpriced crap.

We cook all our meals at home. I cook Italian as I learnt from my mum, and the missus cooks Singaporean/Malaysian as thats her background. Certainly can't complain about the variety.

Our food bills are only approx $50 a week. Gotta laugh at those that complain about food bills but never bother to check the amount of crap in their trolley. All our stuff is fresh, and there is no being tightass on meat either.

Fast food - in greasy out easy

Used to have maccas nearly everyday last year, then i started gym and was on the path to fitness (i was always skinny, was just very unfit).

Funny how now that i've been eating all the healthy foods i've started to gain some size unlike when i ate take-away everyday i gained nothing.
