hey i was going to take my kids to victoria for the snow in july, but because of my minor knee operation last week, i recon i may damage it, if its not healed propely by skiing. i may skip the snow for this year...and take em to gold coast in july.
does anyone go there in middle of winter? is it a waste of time...or do-able?
Omega (caprice rims)
Yamaha VX110
There is a reason why Commodore is number 1 since 1979. Its the best Aussie car. I loved my VL and I love my VE. I cant help it.
do-able but waste of time imo.
half the fun about the theme parks is the stuff you can do in swimmers. gold coast in winter is pleasant, but not warm enough to swim.
go to the snow! take a book or something and park yourself in a bar drinking schnaps. or take camera gear and get some nice shots of the kids having a great time. you dont have to be skiing on the snow to enjoy it.
how old are kids? do you normally ski with them, or put them in ski school? if they are younger, go further north (cairns, townsville) and get into a 5 star resort with nice pool and things for kids to do. the further north you go, the more chance of actually getting weather that you can swim in.
maybe even daydream or hamilton islands... lots of things for kids to do! (and parents can chill out too!) but will cost more obviously.
