Yup, rumors are true. Its been canceled. Bob Jane wouldnt budge on the fees to have it at Calder Park since the people around Sandown had a cry.

Theres apparently a defect session, aka cruise, down near the BP on Princes Hwy this Friday in "protest" of it. To be perfectly blunt its going to be nothing but a waste of time. There's going to be so many dropkicks that will be ripping skids in every which direction that its going to end in a cop and defect fest and any reason behind the protest will be ignored and tarnished because of "hoon" activity. If you want to shove it to Bob Jane, hit it where he listens, his wallet.

Go road block the entrance to Calder Park every Friday night.

I just dont understand Bob Jane. His family harps on about their involvement in Motorsport, yet he continually gives everyone in the car scene the finger.

Half the idiots there will think ripping skids and putting people in danger is a good way to shove it up them for cancelling the event. It's so easy to forsee how this cruise will turn out. The fact that half the Melbourne scene now knows about this "protest cruise", i'm sure the Police are all over it by now. They will get to the Shell servo at Prinny Highway and Warragul road and BANG, it will be on for young and old.

The LastminuteNATS is an event put together by Adam Ronke at Winton Raceway to try and give the car enthusiasts somewhere to go this Easter now that EasterNATS has been cancelled.

The Event will consist of:

Burnouts
Powerskids
Drags
Cruizin'

There maybe Drift events, we are just looking at time constraints at the present. Please everyone remember that these events take months of planning, and this one is very much a LAST MINUTE event.

THIS EVENT IS 100% HAPPENING!!

Entry Fee for Competitors: $150
Garages $80 per car
Powered Carports $40
Spectators $20 each
Camping $15 per head per night

Bar and Kiosk facilities will be open.

Registration and Scrutineering will take place from 12noon Friday, Camping will open from 10am Friday
