As the title says. What songs really do it for you?
I'll say 'killing in the name of', by rage against the machine, and carrion, by parkway drive. Also 'You win again' the bee gees, and most songs by ac/dc
Four commodores and counting.
Rapture, by Jesse Cook. Also Luna Lena by the same guy. Those songs cranked up on a well-balanced sound system are unbelievableThe theme song from Cold Case is also good, it's called Nara, and it is by E.S. Posthumus. Song is here YouTube - Nara by E.S. Posthumus
YouTube - The Shamen - Ebeneezer Goode
and
YouTube - Passion Pit - Sleepyhead
both make me feel happy
whats the difference between my missus and my blower??
well they both whine but the blower actually puts out
ACDC Its a long way to the top, has to be cranked when its on the radio
Got a thing about John Lennon, Imagine.... first time i went on a plane From melbourne to USA every time it got bumpy put that song on calmed me down, shitting myself because claustrophobic lol
Speed never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, now that's what gets you...
The Only F*cking Rave Party - The Only
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention a pommy bloke who goes by the name of OrtoPilot. Very talented guitarist and singer, singer mostlyHe does a lot of youtube covers and his own original albums, personally I think his best cover was of Run, by Snow Patrol. He took a shit song and made it great

These sort of threads usually turn to shit because of peoples hugely varying tastes.

Its real peaceful and still has a beat to it, i love this song, gets good around 52 seconds
I hope this one is different. I myself have hugely varying taste in music. This you may have guessed when I said I liked songs from both Rage Against The Machine and the Bee Gees. I like where this thread is going at the moment. Discovering lots of great new music. Just became a fan of E.S Posthumus and Passion Pit.
Four commodores and counting.
Nothing else comes close to this live. I wa slucky enough to see the 3 tenors live and when pavarotti did this, literally had tears in my eyes. He was an amazing tenor.
A close second is Con te partirň duet of Boccelli and Brightman
Another 2 brilliant voices.

It's good finding pages like this, you find some absolute musical gold sometimesE.S Posthumus have this weird style in some songs, it's french guys, creating synthesised gaelic music. Most notable example is called Antissa, here YouTube - e.s. posthumus- Antissa
I have a varying taste too. I like Passion Pit, E.S. Posthumus, Rammstein, RATM, Primus, Reel Big Fish, Audioslave, Radiohead, Jesse Cook, OrtoPilot, David Gilmoure/Pink Floyd, the Eagles, Tommy Emmanuel. A hell of a lot of music sounds great to me, but the best I think has to be clean acoustic guitar. Very hard to beat.
Another good acoustic song is Tommy Emmanuel's cover of Day Tripper/Lady Madonna, by the Beatles. He doublepicks the whole song, and he does qpuite a good job of it. YouTube - Tommy Emmanuel - Day Tripper / Lady Madonna
ohhhh
This is my number one(better make wifey happy, although I do wish wifey was Emmy)...our first dance at our wedding was to this
