What happens when someone with too much money also has too much free time on thier hands to imagine stuff!!

If I had a Lambo and that much money, I would be doing this

Well...no. Because the set up of the car is totally different. Lambo is a mid engine 4 wheel drive. Mustang is front engine rear wheel drive. Pretty much every panel on that car would've had to have been custom made.

Thats what I thought at first to. But this way he keeps all the Lambo interior etc which would undoubtably be better than the Mustangs.

Looking at the photos of the interior, I don't think its anything special. Hell I reckon the E2 GTS has a better dash.

not to mention handling, apparently mustangs handle like a bucket of shit, considering they have what is basicly an XD falcon rear end im not surprised

But you have to think of things like the GPS, the build quality, the space. Essentially all they did was restyle the panels. Putting the entire drive train into a mustang chassis and body would've been a more costly and tiresome effort.

Oh no I'm definitely not saying they should of put the lambo bits in the mustang body, actually reading my post I admit I should of worded it better. What I'm saying is that through my experience of looking in lambos and ferraris and other top-tier supercars, the interiors leave much to be desired. Stuff like top range Beamers and Mercs are good, but a lot of other >$500000 that I've seen photos of, have rather tacky sad looking interiors, not all mind you just what I have seen. Like looking at the lambo above I would prefer a E2 GTS dash with a few simple Phreddy mods. I'm sure the build quality is great but I just don't like the style.

One example is the LP640 Lambo, it has a simple push-pivot cover over the air-con controls, for the amount of money I paid I would like the damn thing to be electronic. Very small example but I'm tired.

    Looks kinda cheap http://image.motortrend.com/f/852229...lp640+dash.jpg
Like come on this looks way better IMO http://image.automobilemag.com/f/new...2-interior.jpg
Even Cadillac can do better http://www.caradvice.com.au/wp-conte...v-interior.jpg sure the steering wheel could use a bit more leather and trim but overall I think it looks good
The Mercs SLS AMG does look like its worth its money Mercedes-Benz Australia - SLS AMG - Interior

    Anyway my off-topic post done.

^^ that speedo would be annoying over here. goes up to 360km/h, so driving legally on our roads, youd never use more than 1/4 of the gauge

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but it seems to me that's exactly what happened. You can see all the reinforcing and chopping in the mustang to take the rear mount engine. Two different coloured shells in the first pics and all.I don't know how you people are seeing it as the Lamborghini body redesigned to look like a mustang.

True but wouldn't it be good to see it actually hit 360km/h?
