Stolen vk calais adelaides southern suburbs

Ok i no i should post this in SA section but more people will see it here and i no that for sure..

But a bloke i no has had his Vk stolen its an Insane calais worked to the max, was stolen from his house not far of States road at mophett Vale around 12noon,

Apparently they think a white Toyota Hi-ace is involved White with red sticker on the back, Chrome wheels on the front, and stockies on the rear,

Hear is a picture of it,

If anyone has any info let me know so i can inform him

it's a crying shame for the rightful owner of that beautiful car and all of us working hard to bring ours close to that.

It thieves stole that, they couldnt drive it away, with no one noticing..

My guess is, its been stripped, pulled down, and going into another car as we speak, or has already has been.

you are right man. The more you think of it the less likely the old 'oh shit me cars been goofed from the front yard' trick just doesnt ring true. I mean an off its guts 5litre with stonkin mods like that just doesnt go missin at midday on a sunday. If it was opportunistic id be suprised, if it was targeted, why midday sunday. Hazza im not doubting what ya sayin im just thinkin somethings amiss bud, this aint a regular taxing man. After all that shit could be insured for 25 - 30 grand agreed value. My money is also on this beast never to be seen again. Albeit my eyez is still peeled yo.

Fair enough opinion dude, But it was around midday Monday they think.. owner and his missus were at work. He is not the sort of person to try and get a quick buck from the insurance a lot of people know the car and a lot of people have worked on the car, I don't think he would be too happy hearing someone consider accusing him of offing it to get some quick cash,... theres no way you could get anywhere near as much as its worth and had spent on it from the insurance and the time and effort,

Its sad to say but i don't think he will see it again as is, it will be burnt out is my guess with no motor in it. I reckon it may have been someone local because that thing not running, Being put on a trailer would not be an easy thing to do. I think it may have been pushed to its destination some were local but who knows to be honest its just a really sad thing to happen.

And i feel sorry for Aaron and hope he gets some More info on it and at least the people who stole it get locked up for a good while

that thing is insane.... such a shame some prick flogged it. Im down south (victor) and i know most of the mechanics and wreckers here. I will give them a piccy of it 2 put in there shops. Just 2 help out a little.

There is no SA general section - only the SA cruise club section, which is a sub section of the JC Cruise Club, therefore you have posted it in the correct area. If you take a look the heading now clearly states 'General SA Cruise Section' in an attempt to cut down on endless posts in the wrong area.

As for this car, I imagine it would have been a planned hit - stolen to order. Not like you would steal it to take on a cruise or use for illegal purposes (robberies and the like). Sadly I imagine this car was stripped and cut down within 24 hours. I guess the message is for others who own insane machines, strong security is imperative.

Yeh i have to agree with you i don't think its in one bit anymore i personally think its somewhere local to were its stolen, Because it would be hard to put that on a trailer without People GOING OH FARK THATS AWESOME and attracting a lot of attention, i think it may have been broken into and pushed around the streets locally to a house, but who knows it could have happened a number of ways i just hope they find out sooner rather than later, even if he only got the car back no motor its still such a loss....
