Default Who has or wants an Outdoor Spa?

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking at purchasing an Outdoor Spa this weekend,
Just wondering if anyone has had any bad experiences with certain brands types etc.

I'm looking at Electric heating too, as gas is just to much of an effort to install.
It will actually be going inside, I have a room i have set up, with Wet area plaster etc.

I am looking for something that seats 5-6, no need for in built radio's etc as the room already has all that.

I Know bunnings sell Spa's as well, anyone bought one?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, as throwing 5-6 grand into something and then being dissapointed is not the plan....I Hope :-)

we bought an electric one, (2nd hand) and had it converted to gas because it takes about 10 hours to heat up on electric and about 1 on gas.

Yeh, I have a friend who has an electric one, and he leaves it switched on 24/7, he said it costs about $5 a week to run, and is always warm, so that was my plan.

Thats the way to do it,i know somebody that did that and it was cheaper to keep it hot all the time.

    Well, Job is done,
New Room is plastered, painted, and Spa is on it's way.
I bought a Cyclone Monsoon 6 Seater, RRP $13500, But found one with a small Blemish in the foot well, so landed it for $8500, Pretty happy with that.
Should be here Wed or Thurs this week. I also checked to see Electricity consumption, To keep HOT without use, it is around 5cents a day, or to keep HOT and use for 1hr everyday, it will cost 20cents a day, so $1.40 a week. I'll put up some Pix once it arrives.

    Cheers.

I have an Electric one.. cant remember the brand name.. but the plastic (or whatever fiber-material) they use cracked along the bottom of the seat in one of the foot wells.. iv had 5 different plastic welders and 2 "outdoor spa people" all try to fix it.. but not matter what it keeps on leaking.. soo dont be to rough with it.. because they honestly are a nightmare to repair..

Cheers for that, I will be sure to be carefull when climbing in and out........
I'd sayit will cost more like $1 a day to run as it filters and heats twice a day for 2hrs at a time.........
Everyone is in love with it, Including me, so no regrets yet...lol....
