Refrigeration mechanics!
hey guys, ive just started my refrigeration course at tafe and am trying to get through some assessments. i have no troubles working out how vapour compression systems work and specific heat and general installation...i'm stuck trying to find technical info on the net, howstuffworks can tell me how a freezer works but not the refrigerants used or the pressures they generally run.
what have you guys used for info (short of whacking guages on a new freezer at the shop haha)? surely there are study forums or sites somewhere.

Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.

Have a look at BOC gasses site in the technical section for refrigerant info and try some manufacturers sites for air cons etc, some of them have installation manuals etc.
yeah i'm gonna check out carrier when i get to the air con part. see how i go.
