so its 11.45 am, middle of the day. and some workmen spot a mysterious looking douchebag looking mysterious and douche-baggy near a white VK commodore. anyways, he looks so mysterious and douche-bagesque that they decide to call the cops.
the police arrive and park, blocking in said 'white VK commodore' and decide to ask the mysterious douchbag sitting in the drivers seat "what are you doing?"
"its my car" comes the douche's response
"where are the keys?"
"i lost them"
"ok, then what is the registration number?"
"ummm....." and douchebag decides to flee the scene. police give chase, douchebag scales a fence runs onto a balcony of someones house, balcony collapses taking douchbag-f'ck-face with it.
the policemans words to me were..."yeah, i decided it was easier to use the pepper spray at that stage"
i lol'd hard. gonna get a description on the clown this after noon off the workmen that called it in and (hopefully) pay this guy a visit.
edit* i should make it clear that said 'white VK commodore' was my car and the douchbag destroyed my passenger door and ignition.
hahaha good to hear the guy was caught. when i first started reading it, i thought it was you they were questioning and it was just some mix up![]()

just a random question- but dose the thief that damaged ya car have to pay for the repairs? do the courts order him to pay for it ?

sounds like the voice of reason speakinghave you never wanted to extract your own retribution for damamges to your property or person? considering that the cops/courts are handling it and i will be getting no monies for what has happened to cover any repairs.
i must say empty threats are pretty stupid, dunno why i added that. heat of the moment stuff an' all. but still...
But what will getting your own back achieve? Most likely a criminal charge yourself....

*sigh* i can see this is gonna turn into a huge flame where everyone lies and says they have never wanted to hurt anyone else, so i give up.
car is covered with company insurance (LMCT dealership). last time we claimed our insurance went up 1500 bucks to 11 grand a year. the passenger door and column would need to be replaced, so on a VK the insurance company would just write it off for market value and stick our premium up stupidly high again.
so to cut a long story short, not worth it to claim.
I was broken into 7 times in just under a year, and 3 times they tried to steal my VC Brocky lookalike.
If i ever managed to get my hands on them, they never would have found the bodies.
And getting your revenge on someone gives you the satisfaction of knowing they get exactly what they deserve, and some karma has been given back to the lying thieving scum that is out there.
I had a guy try and break into my house whilst iw as brushing my teeth one morning at about 0500. i heard the feet go *thump* outside, and stupid me got so angry i grabbed my then sibre toothed sword and chased the mongrel down the street still in my nightie whilst my kids were asleeep inside the house, door open and everything.
gave him the fright of his life when he rounded the corner and saw me come at him with sword in hand.
those assholes deserve everything they get. Police can only do so much, as can the justice system.........

i agree with you on that. they deserve everything that's coming to 'em.
The other day in broad daylight i left my house to go buy bread. Everyones garage was open so I thought **** it i will leave it open broad daylight... I decided to go for a quick drive as it was a nice day. Before I left I made sure that my boxer was in the backyard and that the doors leading from garage to the backyard were closed.... when I came back I saw the dog running around the street up and down with the garage doors closed...my fence is 2 meteres high and completely sealed with no holes dug out...
Some ****head would have tried going in through the back, seen the dog and took off... i am assuming the doors would have shut from the draft....i reckon i could literally beat someone to death if i found them trying to break in....
ari i know that here in nsw if said douchebag gets convicted you can apply for criminal compensation. This happened to a mate of mine. The crim then has to pay the money back to the government.

whats that old saying? 'nothings illegal until u get caught'
hypothetically speaking of course, if u and/or some mates had a chance to give this scumbag a touch up and get away with it. i say go nuts, have some funif anything u will get a warm fuzzy feeling when u see old mate limping about the place all busted up.
we all know the justice system is a joke, this junkie will get a good behaviour bond and be made to pay damages at $10 per dole cheque at the most
If you start a claim with your insurance company and then provide them with a copy of the police report, it will be up to the insurance company to recoup thier money as you will be not-at-fault.
Twice in the last year people have ran into my car, both times all the detail swapping went ahead, I initiated my own claim and provide them with the photos and details and my insurance company recouped their money.
