I've been meaning to post this one up for a while but always forget.
I was pulled over for speeding on the highway last year. The ticket said the price of the fine had had written '0' in the points section. It's been my understanding that interstate fines are just that, fines with no points. Every single ACT driver I know who has been booked interstate has never lost a point. Is this just some weird ACT thing or is it standard across all states?
And to add to the discussion, have you or anyone you know lost points from a fine interstate?
This is NOT a dick measuring contest, I don't care about how fast you were going.. just say 'I got fined.....' and that's it.
I got fined, lost no points.
212 in a 40 zone in Sydney.

I got caught speeding in NSW at the start of last year on an ACT license , the cop said id loose 3 points. Few months later i rang up Canberra Connect and they said i still had full points..
Everyone i know has had similiar stories happen to them.
I got done in NSW for my seatbelt being under my shoulder instead of over (BListers on the shoulder) Copper issued me with the fine and points, I said I would contest it and get a doctors certificate. Copper still gave me the ticket and said I should already have the doctors cert. I totally forgot about it and never paid it. 2 years and still havnt heard back.....
