As we all know according to just about every thread everyone on here is a bunch of angels who never speed never hoon and just generally never do anything wrong on our roads. LOL yeah right!!! So what have you been busted for on the roads?![]()
Just for the record I got busted doing 109 in an 80 zone on the Gateway arterial. Huge signs everywhere that light up saying its a 100km then it has this little sign when it changes to 80km. Anyway I was following a mate home from picking up his new car and the cops pulled me up so my mate pulled over as well. The copper got right up him blaming him for the fact I was speeding too.LOL Both of us lost 3 points and copped a $330 fine each.
I was doing wheelies through a school zone while drinking a beer.
Im hardcore.
/end thread.
Nothing serious just a parking fine or two. I'm contesting the latest one, no signs, yellow lines or anything. I paced the streets around and couldn't find anything, the council's going to be getting some angry emails very shortly.

I got caught doing a burnout with my 10-month-old son and pregnant girlfriend in the car in Melbourne’s east last night, police say. my vehicle was seized under anti-hoon legislation after the incident at the McDonald’s carpark in Ferntree Gully about 11.35pm
Got done for doing doughnuts at my work car park. Some old B.... dobbed on me.
If its not ILLEGAL its not fun.
Don't know if it counts as I only got semi-busted but worst I was caught doing was testing my new 3.7 LSD coming out of a u-turn across 2 lanes when I still had my old car.
Turned out the VZ Wagon behind me was a unmarked car with a sgt.
I thought the blokes head was going to explode and he was going off at me like there was no tomorrow.
While I was sitting listening to his verbal assault I was already sitting there thinking about how I was going to raise the money to get the car out of the impound after I lost my job because I didn't have a car.
I shaft myself each time I got home and checked the mail for MONTHS after... never heard about it again.
But since that day which was about 5 years ago now, I wisened up and I've never acted like an idiot on the roads again.
Besides that, never really did anything stupid on the roads because I didn't want to lose or stack my car.

hmm, underage driving and excessive speeding but iv learnt my lesson. Being on 1 point for a year sucks but i got through it and since then haven't copped a fine.
stop droolin
lol, what a fun thread! i would have been on my p's until i was 27 if i hadnt have gone to england and swapped it over. most of my crimes involved not displaying p plates and driving cars over the power to weight ratio.
there were 2 a drink driving incidents, both under 0.05 but 0.0 on your p's.
now i drive like a granny. not cos' im scared of crashing, not cos' im scared of cops... just cos'... well i grew up i guess. going sideways if fun for a bit, but it gets boring.
oh p.s. had my Aussie licence back for 3 years and no points deducted. *knock on wood*
2 years ago, 1 Month after I got my license, 83 in a 50 zone. The irony is that's the tamest speeding I did that day, Not 2 minutes prior I'd been cruising at 170 in a 100 zone. Took a side street, Legitimately not paying attention this time, didn't even see the cop til he was in the middle of the road waving me over. Lost my license for a month, Had to deal with 1 point and a 1 passenger limit for 12 months, and a $600 fine. I deserved it, from then on behaved and came out the other side clean. Incidentally, Also learnt a very important lesson.

i average one speeding ticket every 10 years. unfortunatly when i do get one then tend to be up around the $500 bracket
but like they say in accident investigations, for every accident there are 10 minor incidents and 600 near misses........
all going well i'll get my next ticket sometime in 2018/19
