Check out what this wanka did to his car. Can't take credit for finding it though was found by R1DG3Y is under another thread but thought it deserved its own thread.
I'm done with this car! - MustangForums.com
hahahahahahahahahahhahaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha spastic
have read most of it, seems plausible.
shows some people just read everything on the net as true and actually don't have a brain.
even Jeremy Clarkson would know not to put water in the engine instead of oil and run it. and the only tool he can use is a hammer!
LOL i need a good laugh for the day

Man I just read all that guys posts, those guys on that mustang forums are total bastards. They were giving him shit right from the start when he said the car run 11.83 @ 68 mph with some wheel spin but isn't running right and he would like to change the oil. Despite that being a totally legit and obvious 1/8th mile time they started hanging shit on him and no doubt told him to put water in the engine. If they are going to give advice they need to do a better job than that, some people know as little about changing oil as they know about drag racing
I feel sorry for the guy, I know what it feels like to screw something up when not knowing too much about what your doing. (not in reference to cars)
Regardless of how little he knows about cars though, you'd think that by now it would be common sense to most people that running water through an engine, and then STARTING that engine is nothing short of an absolutely terrible idea.
^ Common sense? No such thing, most people will start looking for the filler when you tell them to top up the headlight fluid
Funny read but it couldnt b tru could it lol hahah another bloke was talking about a kid poured sand into the intake of his car while it was running, to port it..Any one no of anything done like this on jc lol
lol thats pretty fu*ked up . lol hahahaaha

im with greenfoam on this one it is a plausable time for someone without experience aswell as so is pouring water into the engine whether it be through the fuel tank or oil to "flush" the system. people ask advice on forums because they am not sure on how to do it and alot of people take that advice literally.
just a shame some people enjoy screwing with people just for sh!ts and giggles.
but having said that he should have also asked around a bit more on how/what to do.
that reminds me of the story of the guy who started and revved his engine after draining the oil to help get the last bit out![]()

I have heard of friends using diesel to flush out old engine oil, but that was on pre 80's Holden's and Ford's and such.
Doubt I would try that on later cars though, just in case.
The only thing after I thought it was a joke was... recon someone told him how to flush the coolant instead of the oil?
