Amazing that he and his baby survived that. If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't believe it.

What I can believe is the following sentence:

"The elderly female driver is thought to have hit a car before losing control..."
Once again, old people and their bad driving.

That bloke is a bigger man than me for saying he would forgive that woman for what happened.

But yeah, bloody amazing that the bub came through un-scratched...

notice too when you look at the car after it has him pinned you can clearly see that side of the car has dented in from hitting him and he still climbs out and walks

Yeah, that's incredible... I would have expected his legs to be crushed and serious lower back injuries.

I would say the same thing too. I've seen it; no traffic, quiet suburban car park. Then all of a sudden the car speeds up, jumps the kerb and smashes into an alfresco dining area (at the restaurant i worked at). And the elderly driver admitted at the scene that she mistook the accelerator for the brake. Probably a good thing no one was in the dining area.

Are you talking about the road the shops are on, or the road off of that in which she was travelling first?
Either way, they said she hit a car there first.....(on the SIDE road, not the road the shops are on....)
