Did anyone go.

I went today and i loved it, mainly because it was an alcohol free event so the ********s wernt there in their numbers like summernats...

I sort of preferred it a bit to summernats..

I got some pics from it which i will put up later..

There was a lime green dodge with a supercharged 440 in it in the dyno hall that is for sale and dad has his eye on it so hopefully he will buy it and we will have a nice car...

Seems alcohol free events are the way to go. Maybe Summernats need to look into it and turn their shit house 'car show' back into Australia's number one car event.

I'd love to see that as they are trying to make it family friendly (i.e no boobs in their view) but i can never really see summernats alcohol free...

The numbers would be less than half than usual if it was alcohol... and people would find a way to bring in alcohol so they can have a good time...

Alcohol free is a good idea, but boob free? Thats not cool. Thats not cool at all.

When there is little kids around it is cool, I wouldn't want my kid, if I had one, to see some slappers dirty rack.

Personally boobs are great. Not for kids though.

Thats the trouble with society today. People are such prudes. Their just boobs for crying out loud. All children should be very familiar with them anyway from having been breastfed as an infant. Besides, why should it be perfectly ok for men's breasts to be exposed but not women's? What happened to equality and all that jazz?

How is "todays society" prudish, for as long as anyone can remember Women have had boobs and ever since then, some have displayed them for entertainment or money. Even back then in the 1800's or when ever, the parlours and brothels were off limits to minors... So how is it "todays society".

I think your love of boobs is clouding the logical thinking part of your brain, which there is nothing wrong with, they can sometimes have that affect..

LMAO! At all of the above. I went to the nationals just for the saturday last weekend (missed the burnouts on sunday dammit! lol) I thought it was tops! Perhaps a little on the quiet side, I was expecting a few more cars, but otherwise myself and my girlfriend had a great day! We even got to try a very.. ummm... 'out there' energy drink for free :P (Those that went will understand haha)Definately some FINE examples of cars there. The '8ATMAN' VU Ute is (and has been for a while) a show favourite of mine. I posted a few of my pics up in the 'Car Shows' Thread in the photo section before I seen this thread if anyone wants to have a look.

Fair enough, but there was a time when people didn't care about seeing boobs, and there are still cultures in which people don't care about seeing boobs. The point is boobs are not bad and looking at them will not hurt you or anyone else or turn you into some kind of monster. And if its just fine for me to walk around topless in public, I can't see a single reason as to why women can't. If women didn't have to cover them up all the time then it wouldn't be a big deal anyway.

Not really, it's the exact opposite of the argument of boobs at a car show. I go to a car show to see cars not attention seeking slappers with their gronky tits out... just as people go to strip clubs to see naked chicks and nothing else. Guess it depends on what you think makes a decent car show..

It was a good show, i didnt go saturday but i went sunday. I had the best spot for the burnouts up the front and in the shade but dad called me and said he couldnt find how to get in the place cause he came late so i had to leave the burnouts and find him... There were some really nice cars..

I really don't understand what everyone seems to have against boobs. Fair enough you are going to a car show to see cars, but as far I'm concerned boobs are a welcome bonus in almost all situations. Nice cars + boobs = win!
