Just Wondering as im about to send some car parts from vic to nsw. ( supercharger set up) including the eaton m90 charger ,LIM and heads and a few pullies
How do i go about doing this as ive never done this before
Do i ring the courier company and they come pick it up and ship it or is it a different story ?
and the items weigh a fair bit so would i need a crate or something along those lines or would a cardboard box be ok?
Give Fastway Couriers a call, tell them what you got, how big it is, and where you want it picked up from and delivered to, tee it up with the seller and wait a few days for it to rock up.
I've used these guys for thousands of dollars worth of Bike and Music stuff and never once had an issue.

i guess these companys let anyone use them? the reason i ask is the other day i called startrack etc and they told me basically you needed to be a business and have an account with them. do these ones work the same way?
Couriers Please Works on a coupon system. Dunno if you need to be a business.

I use Smartsend | Interstate Couriers Services | Delivery Quote | Ebay courier Service They seem to have decent prices and I've never had a problem with them
Fastways you can do a one off pick up, pay with credit card over fone
I'll clarify Smartsend a bit better, they use other companies for the delivery and pickup, but they are set up so that one off users can send things that auspost wont. (more of a booking service than a courier company) I've sent stuff and had other things picked up for me where i had to organise the courier, never had a problem with them with the times that i've used them. I wouldn't recommend Australian air freight, if they miss the delivery, you have to go to the depot to pick it up, not your local post office.
+1 fastways for interstate stuff.
couriers pls are great if you going around town, but long distance stuff we always use fastways.
+2 for fastway, I send fragile framed prints using them. They have been top notch.

Ah k thats allright then so it looks like fastways is everyones favorite.
Is it ok to use a cardboard box to put it all in even thou its really heavy?
im about to use trans direct to get a diff from vic to nsw its 45 kg and costing me 60 buks delivered to my door and picked up from the sellers door quote is half the price of some places ive tried seems pretty good
