Some Bastard Punched And Dented My Car - Road Rage! need help to find

Car in question:
black VY/VZ SS commodore, custom plates (the $415 combo ones - pretty sure black background and white text), silver/chrome 18 or 19" wheels, lowered, exhaust. Probably lives on north side brisbane (went past the murumba downs (dohles rocks road) exit on gympie road/bruce hwy - so lives somewhere between petrie and redcliffe area i'd imagine)... incident happened around 3.30am sunday morning.

Even if somebody knows a person with a silver VT/VX commodore with a C2R kit, with a kiwi leaf on the back window... they saw it all happen...

the story:
My mate and I were driving home from the valley, driving sensibly... pulled up at a set of lights near strathpine i guess, still in the 60 zone on gympie road... pulled up next to the commodore, and took off normally... then he came into my lane a little then gunned it and half cut me off and floored it... then at the next lights, i pulled up beside him, and driver wound down his window (me thinkin he's gonna say 'oh im full sic @#$! lets race'), and the guy in the back yells, "oi @#$! you came into our lane! you nearly hit my ****ing car!!" then he gets out and like RAN to my car, i half launched to get away, but he just managed to punch my car (he was obviously drunk/drugged as his mate was driving his car)... we didn't think it did any damage at the time.. there were 4 or 5 guys in their car, and only me and my mate in mine, so a little outnumbered... so i left, old mates in the middle of the road, that other car i described (the VT/VX) had to go around the commodore... then a few minutes later i see his car FLYING up behind me, but he got a red light... then we were on the highway, and he flew past us at like 200k... if i had of known there was damage i would of chased after them, wouldn't of been hard to catch! Or at least got his plates!

Went outside this morning and noticed the dent in my rear 1/4 panel.. Has a crease in it so paintless dent removal won't work... cops said they can't do anything without knowing his plates, so here's my attempt at getting the scumbags plates...

and if the wanker who owns that car is reading this... you're going to wish this never happened!!!!!

edit: the only description i have of the people in the car are: People were aged 20-25, probably closer to 20, person driving and the guy who came out and hit my car had short brown hair. They were both of fit/slim build. Car had no stickers from what i saw, and fairly sure it still had all the badges on it. Also pretty sure it had the spoiler. Can't really remember wheel design.

have possibly seen the silver VT/VX commodore with a C2R kit,round up the top of Westfield Strathpine or parked in Kallangur,i dont think it has the kiwi leaf on the back window,not sure,i'll keep an eye out but don't get your hopes up and good luck,sorry to hear the bad news

thanks guys... well i didn't stop cos we were out numbered, and i didn't think any damage would have been done (hence why i didn't even check when i got home), as it was only a small thud. Bet he woke up with a sore wrist though! The C pillar is probably one of the hardest parts of the car!

In the middle of posting this up on all the commo and brisbane forums, in hope somebody will know/find him... There's a small lead on boostcruising for the witnesses car (the vt/vx with kiwi leaf) but we'll see how it goes!

Because of ****heads like this, is why i carry one screw driver in each door pocket (front doors). So if we're out numbered and they all try to jump us they wont have any luck. But if not, there is nothing stopping me from getting out and smashing that C**T and his car! Seems only fit as they went to damage mine. Have absolutly 0 respect for idiots like that.

thats a bitch mate, i had the same thing happen to me in adelaide, 4 guys tryed to car jack me, i had a mate with me whos a very timmed guy who pretty much ran away, n left me to defend my car, i was blocked in n couldnt leavr so i had no other option, he dented my door as 1 of them was runnig up i oped the door on him which dropped him then as i was defending my car with with the other 2, the last guy was grabbing my stuff inside the car. lucky i took the keys, managed to chase em down.

A looking for a customised car will make your job ALOT easier, chances are someone will know them.. proving it was them is another problem. Good luck with the search.

i refuse to take my car out past 12 on the weekends due to unwanted police attention. running the risk of a drunk/drugged driver crashing, and the fact that after 11 is usually when all the "fully sic dudes" come out to play.

but that does suck that someone did this man.

well i have a few good leads so far. Hopefully they pan out! For the 2 years i've lived in this region, and been out in the valley, i've never had any problems on the drive home. Always gotta be one idiot to ruin it!

Good luck in you search but I've got to wonder what its going to achieve? I doubt the police would do anything without proof.

I live at strathpine and that description of the car with the kiwi fern rings a bell....im sure there is a car around here that fits that description..ive seen it parked a few times on kensington way near the roundabout...not saying its that car but its desciption is close

That is why i'm also chasing the witness (vt/vx kiwi car) as they saw it all happen. Without him as well, you're right, i won't have enough evidence. But i strongly believe this is all going to work out.. Very very close now.
