    Default Under Rated Movies

Figured Id get a thread started that might not turn into a shitstorm for once.

Basically, Post any movies you think deserve a watch or that you liked that got poor reviews or very little acknowledgement in theatres.

Sunshine - IMO a very good movie that sort of degenerates into a slasher flick toward the end, went almost unnoticed in cinemas, But I think its worth a watch for its great filiming, special effect and the brilliant Musical Score done by John Murphy.

Law Abiding Citizen - Another movie i enjoyed that seemed to get terrible reviews, Revolves around the injustice in America justice system, not to dissimilar to here. I dont like the way they ended the movie it must be said.

The postal movie is very very funny.
Certainly not for you politically correct prudes though, breaking acceptable movie conventions just for the sake of it!!!

King of Kong - A fistful of quarters. (2007)

A mockumentary following the lives of the two best donkey kong arcade players in the world and their bitter battle to become #1

This movie is amazing. It's beyond words. It's almost beyond the realm of imagination. Somebody couldn't just sit down and create the characters who are in this film. Everyone needs to see it.

    In the same vein,

Project Grizzly (1996) - "A documentary follows a Canadian fellow working on his dream: building a suit of armor so he can observe grizzly bears from a close distance."

The best bit of this film is the testing of the bearsuit. Getting hit by an F250 at 50mph with a footy tackling bag strapped to the front. Being thrown down a cliff. Getting shot. It just gets better and better
