just looking at buying a car from victoria, i'm from nsw. the car has 11 months vic rego, what happens to that rego?

im under the impression that its better to the leave the rego on and have it go null so that its easier to rwc and transfer to nsw...though it seems a waste to throw away 11 months worth of rego.

any info would be sweet, cheers.

see if they can cash in the rego and cut the price of the car abit. something along the lines of, ill give you 400 bucks less if it comes with out the rego.
