    Yeah but, wouldn't the thing be scrubbing like theres no tomorow long before solid steel control arms snapped?

    It would have been billowing tyre smoke. I reckon there's more to this story.

    i found that photo on a supermoto forum i go on, i think one of the guys there spotted it but not sure.

    the utes are only rated for like 760kg max or something, bit of a balls upo.

    He's a complete moron and didn't see the smoke?

    Maybe he went and bought a trayload of sand and it rained, then he tried to drive home with a lot of wet sand in the back of his ute. I've heard of this happening before.

    Na, it probably wasn't rubbing, it would have been hard on the bump stops and snapped all the wheel studs off. I'd also say that being aftermarket wheels the centre bore of the wheel would be too big and not locate on the centre spigot therefore leaving all the weight to be taken solely by the wheel studs.

    Still doesn't excuse they guy for being a total moose and overloading the ute....
