does everyone think trades in australia are overrated in pay terms
the average trady earns around 825 a week
they get up at 6am
everyone thinks they ear a stack of money but they don really
Well unless you want to be an 'average tradie' I do not think so. Mosty tradies I know make a LOT more than that. Most if not all (with the exception of hairdressers) bring home well in excess of $100k a year.
Pffft, im a tradie and i wouldnt even get out of bed for 825 a week...

what trades do u do?
Being a fitter in the mines you can double that per week. Not to mention overtime. I dont think its over rated at all. Better than going to uni and earning $70k a year with a hex debt imo.
i kno a fully qualified plumber he makes 27 an hour and i kno a chippy whos on 30 an hour
i want a plumbing apprentiship any tips on how to get one?
My mate is a plumber, we wouldn't get out of bed for less that $1200 a week.
There is definately money to be made in the trades, just got to be willing to work hard and work smart for it.
My hubby is a printer, they make much more than twice the 'average wage' you stated, hell even their offsiders get more than $875 a week.
***k geeze do u think 18 years old is to late to start an appprenticeship 2 years agoo i was a laboroer for a plumber and i really enjoyed it
I know 2nd year sparky apprentices that make more the 875 a week haha. im a 3rd year sparky and earn that with a little over time.
Australia. Love it or leave it

Clearly it depends on the trade.
Don't touch anything automotive with a 10ft barge poll and you're set![]()
yeah car mechanic is a dead end job, unless you supplement your income with home jobs
diesel fitters can do well though, especially if they work for the mines.
A mate of mine used to work for Cat, he did some big hours but made a fortune
im an apprentice cabinet maker so im slowly climbing the ranks. There is big money to be made out there if you do it the right way
825 a week? i hope he is only working 2 days of the week for that
Chuck Norris destroyed the periodic table, because he only recognizes the element of surprise
I'm 19 and get $30 an hour as an operator.
About 60 hours a week.
Everyone is thinking about money.
Not how much a prick of job it is lol.
