I can remember the telecast of the moon landing. We got an extended lunchtime from school to watch it. I also remember the serials on the radio like Kid Grayson rides the range and Superman. I know what you'e thinking and no-one use that nasty phrase (old fart). I remember we got our first TV in 1968 and it was terrific in nBlack and white.
