There’s a staggering number of Australians being in having their computers infected at the moment, up to 20,000, uh, can regularly be getting infected by these spams, or scams, that come through, the portal.
    and another

If you were doing a banking transaction, or transmitting personal information, (Google) could have hoovered it up, sucked it up into their machine
Good to see he knows what he's talking about.

Conroy is a moron, the NBN can be good as long as it is NOT controlled by the government (set it up as a gov owned corporation like Air Services Australia). The filter is just plain communism, plain and simple.

Man, do some research. NBN Co is a Goverment Business Enterprise, not a department.

lol Trust Tommo on this since he is one of the big wigs on the NBN project so busy with it, that he hasn't even updated his Ride from the Senator to the SSV-SE

What I am telling you is that NBN Co is a standalone company, with the Government as a shareholder. Exactly the same as AirServices Australia. That's what you asked, after all.

Fair enough, but i also think it is fair to say that labor will use the NBN to implement control, because it has control over it, Airservices (when i worked there) was largly left alone.

The worst thing about the NBN is that if telstra was split before the sale it wouldn't be needed, one of johnny's major stuff ups.
