    Default speed cameras, again.

Was watching ACA on Nine and they are showing one of the most defendable speed fines I have heard of tomorrow nigh at 6:30t. This woman was booked for speed, only problem is that her car was on the back of a tilt tray tow truck. rotflmao

I noticed the other day that even though I always keep under the speed limit (79 in 80 zones etc), as soon as I pass a speed camera I automatically go straight up to 90, and have to make a concious effort to keep the speed down.

    Maybe thats just me though.

Without even reading the replys to this thread 95% of posts will contain the following phrases:
    1) ACA is the worst show ever
    2) Everything on ACA is not true
    3) Revenue Raising
    4) Speed cameras are pointless
    5) If you get caught its your fault
    6) I got caught doing 60 in a 40, I need my licence for work, you reckon they'll let me off?
Oh and 7) Speedings not dangerous, its inexperienced/stupid drivers that are dangerous

For once your wrong, so far most of the posts have implied that ACA is complete rubbish, which, coincidentally it is.

Speeding is not dangerous inappropriate speeding is. doing 63kph in a 60kph zone is not dangerous doing like 80kph is. It was discussed at a defensive driving course i did in December of last year. You notice when a accident happens and speeding is involved the victim i doing well over the speed limit. I'm not saying speed of any kind is right. You can still get booked for 1 kilometer over.

The thing i love about ACA is when they do an interview with someone about a dispute and they side with them. Then the next week they backstab them and side with the other person so they can get another interview lolololol

LOL i just watched it, she didnt get done for speeding the system picked up her number plate and sent her a ticket for toll evasion. Harldy revenue raising as ACA would have you believe, a simply phone call would sort that out.

The other offences were mixed up number plates which happens, you ring them tell them and problem sorted.

The guy who got done 4 times in a week speeding in a tunnel in QLD should maybe think about slowing down as opposed to telling ACA he wasnt speeding so it must be revenue raising.

Ace_VP, you echoed my thoughts about that guy exactly. There are no flashes on most speed cameras now, I believe, so how would that guy even know when he was supposed to be "not speeding"
