Family Guy Season 9

Hi guys I think I have a bit of a dilemma, I recently purchased Family Guy 9 from BigW. I started to watch some of them and though these look familiar, so i googled the seasons and a lot of them are from season 8 although even then they are mixed up. Some of them are from Season 7.

Does anyone else have Season 9 and can confirm that this is correct or do i have a dodgy copy.

The following is a list of Episodes from the disc title.

If this is the case, what should be my next course of action? Should I just return it to BigW or should I write to the production company?

Anyway, if someone has a copy, can you please let me know.

The dvd series are ill titled in comparison to the TV Titles. This has been the case from day 1. As far as I know, TV Season lists run 1 season ahead of DVD season list. Fairly sure Season 2 is classed as season 1 on disc as season 1 was deemed a pilot. So Season 1 disc is Season 2, season 2 disc is season 3 etc etc.

Minux is spot on. Season 9 DVD is season 8 from TV. They release the DVD after the season has aired on TV so rarely do you see any new episodes (unless you missed one on DVD). The main advantage of the DVD is that it is uncensored. What you bought is the genuine thing!

Oh righto, on the disc menu it comes up with volume 8. So this correct then??

Also the dvd seasons we get here are not the same as what is released elsewere because they aired seasons on tv run a little differntly.

But the first 6 eps you listed are from the end of season 8 and the last 8 are the start of season 9

I think somewhere along the line our seasons were split different to US. This could be the reason.

correct.. season 5 here had a break, but apparently its now referred to as 2 seasons. this was back in the day of threat writers strike
