Sydney Traffic Question

For the locals of Sydney, what's traffic like coming from Campbeltown on a weekday morning then on the M7 out to Eastern Creek? Around 7am say...

As in how long would it take to get from Narellan Rd on ramp to the Hume/M5 to Eastern Creek? I've just never done in on a weekday morning is all.

I'd say ####ing ages man, Sydney peak hour is not fun, Especially in a manual. LOL

The freeway past Campbelltown is currently being upgraded to four lanes in each direction but whilst construction is proceeding, for some distance, it's only two lanes each way and this causes big traffic hold-ups during morning and afternoon peaks. 7 am would be right in the middle of peak hour out that way. Once past that area, where the full three lanes open up again, the traffic moves ok. The M7 reduces to two lanes each way but in the morning, it runs ok until it hits the M2, which is well past Eastern Creek and therefore shouldn't be a problem for you. I don't live out that way so I can't help with travelling times. Over to the South Westies for that one.

I lived in Sydney for 18 months. It wasn't for me. I lived in Drummoyne -hardcore place....but I hated my job. The traffic in Sydney is BS BIG time.

I moved back to Melbourne and suddenly realised that the traffic, while not as bad, is not that much worse......
