####, how do you react to that?
I mean.... The AFL, Bookies, Airlines, Hotels, Pubs, Clubs & anyone who has anything to do with getting money from this game will be doing ####en backflips right now
####ing awesome!
I don't support either side having said that I like the Saints and much prefer them over the pies. Ended up yelling at the TV quite a bit...next week is the NRL grand final also, hoping they don't show the two at the same time. (are they on different days....i'm not sure?)
AFL Grand Final rules re: Draw =FAIL.... Big fracken time.
Even the fans were shocked as they all didn't want this, Grand fracken final is that... a FINAL, you fracken morons/loosers that make the rules.

What did it pay for a draw???
Im the same, i dont back either teams, just be good to silence the collingwood mob.
In regards to rules, should be play on until a golden goal or point is scored
Only if Milne grabbed the ball and kicked a goal in the last minute instead of letting it go through the points woulda been good...
Do the people who where at the grand final have to pay for another ticket? Imagine if you came down from another state or country just for this game and it has to be re-played the next week...accomodation, ticket fee? Im not a supporter of either of the 2 teams that played but i was pretty annoyed...What do you guys recon?
Yea they would. bt think, more people get a chance to be at a Grand final for a first!
I don't support either team, I still ended up screaming at the TV....i tend to get a lil worked up over sport. Anyway, the AFL and anyone who stand to make money out of the game is laughing! absolutely loving it, ANOTHER GRAND FINAL another week of packed clubs, pubs, hotels and bookies make a ####load more etc. etc. Yes it is a shame it has to be replayed, I certainly would have loved saints to win but the AFL is not about to be handing out free stuff, they stand to make a lot of money out of this.
I reckon the replay rule is great.
It has only happened 3x in history so not really that much of an issue in my mind.
So the AFL and all the cling on industries make a ferw more bucks. So what.
Another chance to see a cracking game of footy.
Damn those people who made the rules over 100 years ago.
If this rule were such a big issue, it would of been fought over for years. It hasn't. The coaches even agree the rule should NOT be changed.
Who says they have to go again?Do the people who where at the grand final have to pay for another ticket? Imagine if you came down from another state or country just for this game and it has to be re-played the next week...accomodation, ticket fee? Im not a supporter of either of the 2 teams that played but i was pretty annoyed...What do you guys recon?
I have already organised my ticket through a St Kilda member just int he hope we see another cracking game. How many chances do you get to see 2 brilliant games?
The only people whinging about this rule are either collingwood supporters or people who believe game rules shouyld be changed for the sake of changing. The rule has been in since day 1 of VFL. Don't like it, stiff.

So the passing of time makes this rule good? right, I am thinking of the people who paid good money to see a game of football wanting a result from it. All that is needed is another period of time ( 5 min or whatever) to finish the game. I have no idea what your smoking for thinking this rule is a good idea.
Damn thise people indeed

AFL love it because it means they get to make money twice.
Only way to change it, is to not go.
Personally I wish they changed the rule so I don't have to hear the bullshit and deal with drunk bogans again next week.
I don't follow or support any of those AFL teams... sport is sport as such is an entertainment based event 1).For the players(who mostly do it cause they love the AFL/VFL game...) and 2). Even more so for the FANS!!!.
Having no result after such a long period of time is just not right... every face I had seen on the TV including many of the players clearly showed that. Many players expressed their disappointment by the result, but cannot say too much as they would be reprimanded is some way. Either by their respective clubs or the VFL/AFL governing bodies, so they cannot go as far as we can.
Hell, even Soccer/NRL/Tennis/Rugby/Olympics/World Championships and almost every other major sporting event has some way of getting a result with extra time in a “GRAND FINAL” as they recognised/accepted way. (I’m sure you will find some exceptions to this like Test Cricket, etc. etc. ect...)
Even if the second re-match is just a great as the first... no result on the first try is just wrong in my books, but you any many here are entitled to your opinions just like I am and are entitled to express them on an open forum without attacking anyones views too much.
Now to take a leaf out of your book/vocabulary...
Don’t like what I said, stiff.

Problem with a re-match is how do you account for injuries and such sustained in the original game?
Its unfair really.
