Teens Sentenced to Jail for Taping Toddler to Wall
Two teenagers were sentenced to jail after duct-taping a 22-month-old child to the wall. The pictures—here with the child's face obscured—show him stuck to the wall at uncomfortable angles and with tape directly on his bare skin.
The mother, Jayla Hamm, 18, was sentence to 10 days in jail and two years' probation, while her boyfriend, 19-year-old Corde Honea, received a sentence of 36 to 60 months in prison—as well as separate sentences for burglary and possession of a firearm.
Besides taping the kid, Hamm and Honea taped his favorite sippy cup to the wall just out of his reach. They also appear to have taped his fists closed. The police say they were high; either way, their expressions in the photos don't reflect people who quite understand that two-year-olds are not toys. (The boy's expression, which you can't see, was described by the prosecuting attorney as "terrified.")

I can't help it if my initial reaction is one of laughter!!! Looks funny to me... Doesn't mean I'd ever do it or condone it.
Just proves what the bottom feeding breeders of the world do. Funny thing is the checks and application process those two would have to go through to get a library card are more than what they need to do to breed.

Anyone who thinks thats funny obviously doesn't have kids. About time something was done about the dregs of society being allowed to reproduce. No idea why the mum gets off with a 10 day sentence while the boyfriend gets 3 years. Hope they both get what they deserve in jail.

^^^Bit more to the story.An American toddler is back living at home with his mother after she and her boyfriend were jailed for duct taping him to a wall.
The 22-month old boy was originally placed in the custody of the US state of Nebraska after photos emerged of the abuse.
But the boy has now been put back in the custody of his 18-year-old mother Jayla Hamm, ABC News reports.
Gage County officials said state health officials would continue to monitor the boy's home, while prosecutors were investigating a separate case to see if Hamm should continue to have custody of the boy.
Hamm, from the town of Beatrice, held her son to the wall while her boyfriend, 19-year-old Corde Honea, duct taped the boy's wrists and legs in January.
According to police the couple were "high after a night of partying" and decided to stick the boy to the wall as entertainment.
An affidavit to Cage County District Court said photos taken on Hamm's camera showed the boy was crying while being restrained with the fluorescent green tape.
Hamm was sentenced to 10 days in jail to be served over five weekends as well as two years probation.
Honea was sentenced to three to five years in prison for intentional child abuse, with an additional 12-24 months for possession of firearms.
Seriously what is wrong with the people that are supposed to protect these kids from bad parents. The parents were high when they did it and pics were taken of the poor kid balling his eyes out while his mother held him against the wall and the b/friend taped him up. Thats just ####ed in my eyes.
