Hi People,

A taxi ran up the back of my work ute last week, problem is the ute is highly customised and I am trying to find a replacement hire vehicle to use for 3 days whilst my ute is being repaired.
I need something suitable for use in the electrical industry
On NSW central COast or Sydney/newcastle hire

Requirements
MUST have ladder racks to carry 30ft extension ladder closed length of 4.5m plus a smaller duel purpose ladder.
Must have weather proof and secure area for stock, power tools etc

Something like an ex Telstra van, Energy Aust van would be fine

Tow bar would be nice but not essential.

I have called all the majors, budget, avis, thrifty etc no one can do a van with racks
Best I can do is either a 3ton truck and put everything in the back or a long wheelbase hiace van and not carry an extension ladder which is a royal PIA.

Anyone got any suggestions?
If I cant get something suitable I then have to sue for lost income for 3 days which I dont want to do.
