It would make more sense to put that in your original post CSP...
Definately not a bad idea, but I don't think it should be limited to just one day.
It doesn't take much to hang around for 5 mins to have a chat with someone that looks like they're a little stressed/not coping too well with whatever it may be...
Something so small (to you) could be a major help to someone in need of a friendly chat/bit of interaction with another person.

I believe that he is legitimately trying to promote a good cause, not taking the piss, I have no problem with it.
I do have mixed feelings about this campaign, I think if anyone is going to ask some one "R U OK?" they better be prepared to hear some heavy shit and not make matters worse. I've recently gone through the worst shit imaginable in my life and I have had well meaning people say stupid shit that just makes things worse.
