Dw I still hate subaru drivers.... so if you see a guy on the street of adel thats crap at driving his new wrx manual (been driving manual a whole 4 weeks now), my apologies lol.

me too..... ive already ripped the exhaust off and put a twin cannon catty on it (not lebspec or wiggaspec).... just something with a a nicer note and thats helped it a bit.
Pretty much i dont like how they tried to mooch the name off the lancer..... its not even a real class spec, just means it has leather seats.
I had 4 choices for my car.... R34 which i really wanted, VY calais, this and a hsv grange.
Im young thought i'd get something non grampaspec, wanted a VY calais heaps but couldnt find a good condition one for right price, and as much as i love nissans and r34s..... was hard to find a non pre hooned one. On top of that easily stolen and i work in automotive engineering... every week someone has to come in and get their skyline un-defected. Cops love them, they love wrx's too but as soon as they see my leather seats and that im not driving it like an idiot......

WRX is/was the most stolen car, and the car of choice for most wanker drivers.
But if you're happy with it, thats all that matters. Don't go winding the boost up too much, you'll pop it.

The pin system to cut out the engine is a nice feature, annoying but nice, rather keep typing in the number then having my car stolen.... i know it can be overridden using a screwdriver, 30 cents of electrical tape and some 4 gauge wire, but where I work in hindmarsh is full of crackheads... who wont know how to bypass it, so it prevents it beign stolen by anyone who isnt a pro and targeting the car which is a nice feature

second day i had the wrx i took her round the bathurst track on the way back from syd where i got her. killer experience, even if it was sacreligeous in a ricer.
Last time before her i drove manual was in my sisters VN when i was 16... then was like f***k it and learned how to drive in my mates auto VR which i later bought, which i still miss.... 3" catty, hiflo and extractors on a buick 3.8 was beauty, wish I still had her for a daily.
Got some pix with teh wrx at bathurst, i dont wanna put up more pix til ive done mods to her.
Helped impact youth host their lan on friday...... and they knew about my car so my thank you gift was a pair of fluffy dice cubes lol

From my expirience there are two types (generally speaking) of WRX drivers. ricers and elitest twits. Not a great deal in between.

amen to that. apart from minux the only other half decent wrx driver i've met was a devout mormon. I hope there are more that arent either of those 2...... but yeah... the numbers are pretty solid

Yeah, JC is pretty good as far as forums go.
I've got an EJ25t powered Liberty myself.
You've probably got the best model WRX IMO.
First thing you should do is invest in a FMIC (Front mount intercooler). And a decent dump pipe, Don't be fooled by most of the fanboy's you don't need an ultra loud exhaust to get enough flow.
I've got a single 3" TBE with decent muffler under it. Got a very subtle lope at idle but you can barely hear it. As it revs you can but its nothing grotesque like most getting around.
