Fractured Foot Ideas to keep me entertained

Howdy People,

Just recently fractured my heel bone (calcaneal fracture) I'm off work for a few weeks 2nd day in and I'm bored with playstation....

Any Ideas of passing the time considering no driving for up to 6 weeks :bawl:

Anybody had Foot/Leg Injurys that required the use of crutches like to share how they passed the time.

I was in a wheelchair for 8 weeks after breakign both legs and then multiple surgeries, only got through thanks to mates while was in army. It is hell boring.

You got my sympathy.

I suggest a TV series watching from ep 1 to finish

Read some books, if you find a good one it's really enjoyable. I'm currently reading about the OTORI clan written by Lian Hearn, and i'm absolutely loving it. There's four books you gotta read, so that should keep you busy for awhile.

do a re-enactment of Rear Window and spy on the neighbours

get yourself a remote control mini helicopter, enough dvds and porn to sink a battleship, puzzles etc. If you get really bored you could always do a course for something via the internet

I fractured my foot, was off work for 6 weeks, only thing is was 2 bones in the middle of my foot before my toes..

I can't remember what i did, but it wasn't much. I was pretty bored.
